POEM: Dead Women

On female rage

I didn't know this before but

It turns out chastity belts have spikes:

Man-made vagina dentata.

There's a slit down the centre 

For her to urinate through, and

It's smaller than I imagined - not a belt at all

But something like a metal pad.

The size of a man's palm.

I must have walked past a dozen times

Without realizing what it was.

There's a chastity belt 

In the local museum.

There's also a dead woman

But that's nothing new.

Dead women get everywhere.

---

And dead women

Never turn heads.
